Information technology'south like the Author read "Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God" and liked a lot of the ideas just was frustrated with the execution and so he decided to write his own version instead. There's even a scene where the Main character humiliates a Swordsman with the same name as the hero from RSSG, which is kind of funny.

Start off, the translator here is fantastic. Mad props to Mad Snail!

At present as far as the story goes, this does improve upon many of the all-time aspects of RSSG and then capitalize on those

Now as far as the story goes, this does amend upon many of the all-time aspects of RSSG and then capitalize on those aspects while blazing its ain trail. It accomplishes this, however, by foregoing many of the chiliad routes that RSSG goes downwards, and tightening the focus to a more manageable scale. Don't get me incorrect, this is even so a huge sprawling novel, merely while RSSG is like a never catastrophe toybox that just keeps inventing new quests, characters, and ideas, Rebirth of the Thief... has a definite terminate game in sight and it works tirelessly and with excellence to reach that goal.

I disliked this because the writing was boring and the mc is bland.
I only read a picayune ways into this novel, simply if I disliked information technology enough to bother putting it on goodreads, I might equally well star it and write a review.

Characters: 1/five
It's the usual regressor matter, merely this dude is annoying, just immediately trying to gain an advantage. That's really dry and I couldn't get invested in the mc.

World: unremarkable

There was nothing to set this apart from other novels. There wasn't fifty-fifty a uni

I feel extremely ambivalent about this book. On the one hand, it's a very flawed piece of work. The author continuously drops plot threads & forgets about items/skills Nie Yan has already gained, has consistent issues with scaling & numbers, and you can just pray that they're never invited to exercise any kind of game design or game balancing. In that location's near no real suspense, and about of the supporting characters are merely there to prop up Nie Yan and gaze worshipfully at him, including his main love interest.

Information technology's pure ability fantasy. And I think the unapologetic nature of it is what keeps me reading most as a comfort read. As an MMO player & former order officeholder, the stiff wish fulfillment that I go out of reading someone who runs a smooth operation in their guild where he never has to worry about omnipresence bug for his raids is apparently plenty to sustain me through this book's flaws.

Prissy volume on MMORPGs, simply lot of loose ends which should have been closed. But it is good enough for me that Mad Snail finished this book. Mad Snail adds a lot of good threads but leaves them open equally he probably doesn't at present how to close them. For instance what was with the twelfth Corps and the mecha suits, with Jebiah and Redwin, with the snow leopard cat? And he introduced Specter dragon as a game changer but hardly ever used information technology.. Novels with lots of potential, simply ever falling short in the end Nice book on MMORPGs, but lot of loose ends which should accept been airtight. Just it is good enough for me that Mad Snail finished this volume. Mad Snail adds a lot of practiced threads but leaves them open up equally he probably doesn't now how to close them. For case what was with the 12th Corps and the mecha suits, with Jebiah and Redwin, with the snow leopard true cat? And he introduced Specter dragon as a game changer but inappreciably ever used it.. Another typical Chinese VRMMO, this is a fun comfy read. Has tons of flaws from simple characterization and globe settings to not so original plots, all the same did leave me satisfied. At least information technology skips out on the Harem, Nationalism and overpowering MC, things other Chinese works tin can't do without. Some other typical Chinese VRMMO, this is a fun comfy read. 965 chapters over a couple years. Woo. This was a quicker read than most. The ending was abrupt, but good story overall. They never said why he reincarnated, then definitely loose ends.
